Fletcher and Zenobia Save the Circus (2011)
A theatrical adaptation of the original children’s book by Edward Gorey and Victoria Chess that combines physical acrobatics with Gorey’s offbeat humor to tell the fantastical journey of Zenobia, a doll, and Fletcher, her pet Cat, as they wait for a train to arrive. Tonally vibrant, humorous and quirky, Fletcher plays out like an immersive-storybook circus-fantasy. Staged in a sit-specific manner at the historic train shed at The Mill City Museum.
